Bought this guy yesterday. LFS has him at low salinity. 1.018. Brought him home, drop acclimated him to qt w salinity of 1.018. Immediately went to hide. Today, still hiding. Brought salinity up to 1.019 slowly throughout the day. Fish is now half dead. Laying on side. Barely breathing. Freshwater dipped it. No Flukes. Only thing I can think of is that it was beaten up during capture. Was hiding in a rock and lfs guy shook it, poked it with a pen, and was really rough trying to get it out. No bruising. Fish looks perfectly fine. Just acting very sick. HELP!!!

He didn’t make it :(

Found this protruding from the gramma’s chin. Looks like a fluke but not dropping off even after 10 min in freshwater.

Also, he had a brown poo sticking out of him that, after he died, fell off. White stringy poo came out after he died.

What do we think?
