Just got my AB from thirsty yesterday. Polyps are slowly coming out. It’s the frag on the right. Left is Matt V Psycho Asylum

Nope haven’t seen it., never claimed he was selling fakes either., I said I didn’t see an angry bird in that picture., so now that’s clear are you referring to the top frag? It looks purple and green with yellow polyps if so?

He said the other was Disney. So yes, the top one was the one AB he said he sent out. Maybe it wasn’t your intent and I shouldn’t have said that, if so my bad but If he’s saying it’s an angry bird he just sold and u say “you don’t see any angry birds in the picture, lol”, that implies you think it’s not an Angry Bird, sold as an Angry Bird. Which to me equals, a fake Angry Bird. See what I’m saying? But now that that’s cleared up. Here’s a pic of one purchased by Thirsty that also looks purple and very slight amount of green with yellow polyps. Atleast in this pic. Just to bring up another example of AB that isn’t what you expect to see. Not blue with red and yellow base polyps. Chayse has become a friend of mine and I came across this while looking at angry birds on the site. Probably should have just left it but felt like speaking up for a buddy. I really didn’t mean to cause a fray on a year old post.

Agreed that doesn’t look like AB to me either. I have an AB from Thirsty. Highly recommended vendor.

You’re wrong I can post more pics, the base is a blueish, yellow tips, and red polyps. Nothing like the one Camaro posted.

Eli’s pic is clearly under a whiter spectrum, so I’m sure if it were under heavy blues with an orange filter it would look proper. And I agree with everyone else, the one Camaro posted doesn’t look like an angry bird. Just like Troylee said, no one said he doesn’t sell real angry birds, so calm down. No one is bashing his business either? Why get upset??

Thirsty has more than just one picture. He also has clear lineage on his Angry Bird as he has discuss on podcasts as also as outlined in brief on the first page of this thread.

Eli’s looks a lot more like an AB than the other picture posted, even under more white spectrum. If Eli got it from Thirsty who has likely distributed more AB than any other coral seller then that is solid assurance.

Correct I don’t think he’s very real. Why don’t we use the jolt grow out as an example.

Additionally you can see in my picture that the polyps that are not fully extended as it’s been 24 hours are reddish not yellow like the pic from Camaro.

if you’re doing this because of the jolt grow out you’re taking it too far. He tried something fun but his busy life got in the way for month to month photos. This isn’t his day job. He’s not like Adam or Thirsty that are full time vendors. But to my knowledge the contest hasn’t ended and picked the winner. Doesn’t mean there isn’t going to be a winner.

Here would be my post about it, if you want honesty…. I would say hey @Camaro Show Corals do you have any other pics of the AB? It does look different from others I have seen, I haven’t seen that much yellow in the polyps before on others.

Ok, fair. But you have been in the hobby and know the importance of lineage. IMO a lot of people would see that and just move on to another vendor without much thought. Y’all might not be meaning to but can you see what I’m saying? At worst you MIGHT be sewing his pockets saying that without knowing for sure that it isn’t an Angry Birds. Go to yahoo, google, whatever your search engine and look at pics. There’s a lot of very respectable vendors like Vivid or even Top Shelf (older pic) with AB’s that look purple or not what you expect from an Angry Birds.

Bruh. Just have your homie post a better pic of his AB colony or other frags, in better lighting and not that lighting he’s taking it in.

His pics are almost as bad as the SBB pics as of late. Simple way to clear this up.

I didn’t start it, I just said I highly doubt it’s fake because Chayse has an incredible collection. It’s not crying and whining I was just standing up for my boy. Just like he trust Troylee, I trust him. It doesn’t need another photo, it looks like an Angry Birds because it’s an Angry Birds. It’s possible that everyone just learned that an Angry Birds can look purple and green with yellow based polyps in a UV leaning blue spectrum (because red and blue don’t show as much fluorescence in UV) with orange filter picture.

Maybe so, like I said to Troylee I wasn’t looking for an argument on a year old thread. But sometimes opinions are unquestioned and are taken at face value. If I didn’t know better I would have thought, pass, I’ll go to Thirsty or whoever. Wasn’t fair to me so I spoke up but I’ve made my point and will shut up now if everyone can let it go.
