Maybe so, like I said to Troylee I wasn’t looking for an argument on a year old thread. But sometimes opinions are unquestioned and are taken at face value. If I didn’t know better I would have thought, pass, I’ll go to Thirsty or whoever. Wasn’t fair to me so I spoke up but I’ve made my point and will shut up now if everyone can let it go.

I see where you’re coming from now lol.. I didn’t even see the first page of this thread or what it was about haha! “I got a notification about a post in a thread” I opened it and saw that new guy post a picture and said he’s got one for sale and then Camaro posted a pic.. I said what I said and I’ll stick to that.. I don’t doubt one bit Camaro has real angry birds that was just a really lousy picture if he’s trying to advertise it or what ever.btw I keep getting notifications so here I am again . I see my name getting tossed around here I’m not on anybody’s side btw! I stay neutral and just try to keep it real! Carry on! But keep it respectful please.

Sorry my post may not be too helpful, but all I want to say is this is one of the worst corals out there for imitators/fakes. So you're right to be digging around finding what is authentic. I'm NOT speaking from experience, just thoughts of what I've read around here.

I feel like at this point there is so much dubiousness with what is the "authentic angry birds", and it doesn't help that acros can look very different from tank to tank. I BELIEVE the original OG authentic acro you want is "RRU Angry Birds". I also believe this is authentically carried by TSA, and whoever prove/claim to have purchased it from TSA lineage probably have the real deal. I'm sure there are others.

From my experience I would never purchase a coral from that person.
That was/is the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor on this site.

That’s fair, if you had a bad experience in your opinion I can very much understand why you would not recommend them but ppl make mistakes. He wanted to do something fun and maybe he’s just too busy to do it. Idk I haven’t talked to him about it. But like I said earlier, to my knowledge the contest hasn’t ended. If your Jolt is still alive and growing take a picture measuring it and post it. Maybe it’s just the first to not have monthly updates unlike the others. My first order from him took a couple months due to his amount of orders and work schedule but he always got back to me when I asked about it and when I got the order in he gave me a multi polyp frag of great owls and poinsettias, two gorgeous and valuable zoanthids. The freebies were actually more expensive than my order. He didn’t know me from Adam at the time. Just hit him up and ask about the contest.

I don't think he ever updated the rules to say how many months can be missed; I could be wrong and may have missed it because that thread is kind of a mess.

I don't really care how it plays out; I'm in several battlecorals growouts and will continue taking photos monthly because I'll already have the ruler in the tank. But, like I said in the growout thread, knowing how pieces like that do in my tank, it's probably not going to look much different in April.

Yeah I thought it was X-37’s comment, if anyone in thread bought their Jolt from him for the contest I would post updated pictures. I doubt he disqualifies anyone for the monthly updates rule. I imagine a 1k$ pack from him would be pretty sick, and 500$ for 2nd and signature piece for 3rd. Take advantage of contestants quitting the contest. Even though there hasn’t been monthly updates, I trust that he’s going to still award winners, he’s not the kind of person who wouldn’t. He never said the contest was kaput. He just updated the thread Aug. 29th.
