Sounds like snake oil to me. Also a minor case of ich needs to be treated the same as a severe case if you want to eradicate it vs ich management.
I think that would be best otherwise its just going to be an ongoing problem. Maybe take a look at the article below and post up a video so one of the experts can assist if needed.Ok thanks for letting me know I guess I will try to do the copper treatment.

I have a very minor case of ich on one of my clownfish, only a few spots. Would ruby reef kick ich work for this? Thanks in advance
There is nothing better than a proper quarantine and even though I knew this, I screwed up. If you want to read about my adventures with Ruby reef kick ich, and rally pro read through my build thread starting on page 9 post 175.I have a very minor case of ich on one of my clownfish, only a few spots. Thanks for the advice, I am very tight on budget and do not have a proper quarantine tank however I might be able to set up one soon. I am not planning to get any more fish so I will not need to quarantine anything from my LFS. I hope the kick ich works. There is nothing better than a proper quarantine and even though I knew this, I screwed up. I am going to start a thread for my treatment with kick ich. Wish me luck!I have a very minor case of ich on one of my clownfish, only a few spots. Would ruby reef kick ich work for this? Thanks in advance
It does and like many manufacturers, what they claim is often the opposite. As we know, what is safe for inverts is often safe for parasitesOMG - I looked it up and it really says that!
What are some other diseases/parasites that cause white spots?I have a very minor case of ich on one of my clownfish, only a few spots. Would ruby reef kick ich work for this? Thanks in advance
Not all white spots are ich. I suspect that the very few reports I’ve heard of this product working was due to that misdiagnosis - the number of cases where it failed is overwhelmingly higher.
What are some other diseases/parasites that cause white spots?
To be fair = it's basically the same thing that UV is supposed to do - it does not treat infection - but is designed to control levels of the parasite in the tank. (Which is what is says in the directions) - however the way they word it is extremely poor marketing. "It has been scientifically formulated to treat the infectious stage of the ich life cycle while being safe for all fish, corals and invertebrates." To have the other sentence which they include saying its not for the treatment of ich doesn't completely make sense (but - its definitely there)OMG - I looked it up and it really says that!
Thanks for the info I will try to get a better lookWhat are some other diseases/parasites that cause white spots?
Mucus cones/plugs show as white spots but are generally not deleterious. With clowns, missing scales from squabbling often results in white spots.
If you see white spots on the clear portions of the fish’s fins it isn’t either of those two issues and is more likely ich.
I had good luck with ick X. the local public aquarium uses it, it seemed to fix mine ????Thanks for the advice, I am very tight on budget and do not have a proper quarantine tank however I might be able to set up one soon.
