My beautiful powder blue tang was found dead this morning. Showed no signs of sickness and was acting completely normal before I left for work

Often, these guys develop internal issues with no signs and then shut down. It’s hard to see lice and turrebella worms on their light colored body which may also be a possibility

Sorry to hear that. I lost my blonde naso a couple months back for no reason whatsoever. Healthy and eating to dead the following morning.

BTW, only fish I lost this year was achilles tang and when powder blue was brought in which I also lost

I'm sorry to hear that. My brother lost his blue throat trigger, and powder brown tang just the same. They seemed healthy and acting normally, then bang. So so sad for your loss. I lost a scopas tang randomly three days ago in the same fashion. Turned out I had severe ph drop over the course of a few days. I started testing parameters daily because I'm scared to lose anyone else. I name all of my fish and they become a part of my family. I know it hurts to lose anyone, Sorry Manda.
