Often, these guys develop internal issues with no signs and then shut down. It’s hard to see lice and turrebella worms on their light colored body which may also be a possibility

BTW, only fish I lost this year was achilles tang and when powder blue was brought in which I also lost

I'm sorry to hear that. My brother lost his blue throat trigger, and powder brown tang just the same. They seemed healthy and acting normally, then bang. So so sad for your loss. I lost a scopas tang randomly three days ago in the same fashion. Turned out I had severe ph drop over the course of a few days. I started testing parameters daily because I'm scared to lose anyone else. I name all of my fish and they become a part of my family. I know it hurts to lose anyone, Sorry Manda.
