Alright kids, y'all have waiting impatiently long enough.

I'll start with sayin We're Beat. Follow with saying Most of a 30 pack is still in the fridge from Friday if that gives any indication. Been going hard.

First order of operation was getting the plumbing finished and leak free.

Once we were happy there, we layed out the rock to start with.

New rock I picked up locally, cheap.

Add here 60-70 pounds of cycled Marco rock and that's what we were working with.

Next was laying base rock and this is where I get very specific. This Entire scape is essentially hollow. As seen below, no pieces are touching each other. Every piece has clearance essentially All around it making a Massive amount of tunnels, caves and hiding spots. Just of these are accessed from the rear of the scape.

Continued building vertically, working towards the drawing reference on the front of the tank. Every layer is stacked like the base. Secure caverns.

Once we got here, the water was pretty blown out and we had been going about 7 hours on the rock. Switched gears to clean up and adding some non tangs into the tank.

First thing today was washing an additional 50 pounds of sand and filling in the low spots. Washed it will enough that there was no cloud issue.

Lighting still needed hung, so a few pieces of scrap plywood and acrylic later, we have a lighting solution.

Thank you but this is a temporary fixture. The real solution is likely extruded aluminum abs modular. This is too visually bulky and cumbersome.
