Is this fish able to be saved? Got some sort of bump on his side. See pics. Probably got only a couple hours left in him I'd guess. Came in yesterday with a batch of anthias and didn't notice the spot until last night.
What can I try?

That looks like an Aeromonas spp. (gram negative) bacterial infection. It doesn't get much worse than that. I highly doubt this fish is savable. :(

If you wanted to try a Hail Mary, give him a 90 minute bath using acriflavine (ex. Ruby Reef Rally), and/or place in a QT with this concoction of antibiotics: Furan-2, Kanaplex, Metroplex.

Thanks hf. It passed within an hour. I'll make sure to get some of those on hand for next time. I'm always a fan of the Hail Mary.

Was this fish in a bag with any other fish? It would be wise to keep a close eye on them if it was.

Shipped in a bag by itself but spent about 15 hours in 55 gallon qt with about 12 other anthias. One was dead this morning of internal parasites (white stringy poop, super lathargic on arrival) and one other of mysterious causes. The remaining 10 or so seem okay so far. Planning on starting prazipro tonight with copper or qp in about a week. There is a small residual copper in the system and a small uv sterilizer running that I will turn off once I start treatments.

I think I'd hit the QT with antibiotics before any other med. Just to kill any free floating bacteria. Aeromonas is highly transmissible.

All 3 of them you listed above?

I would dose Nitrofurazone (Furan-2) to sanitize the water, as some species of Aeromonas are resistant to kanamycin. However, if symptoms show up on any of the fish I would hit the QT with all 3 to achieve the widest possible spectrum of treatment.
