Man I got my orphek lense kit today but the macro lense won't focus literally at all. Looks like a return to me and now I'm forced to buy an actual lense for my canon to get good pics :(

You all should consider getting a whole home filtration set up. I can't imagine being without mine now. It makes a huge difference.
I have two! They're still in the box in my garage...

A brown filter is more realistic if you can find one. I actually turn my contrast down on my pics because the orange filter dueces it up to unrealistic standards

My issue is getting enough zoom to see the coral without it getting super blurry
Turning off flow helps. Deep enough and top down is best. Also the more level you can shoot pics on the outside of glass helps. Other than a telephoto lens a macro has to be close. What phone you have?

Pixel 6, think I might make or get one of those portholes for top down. I have a nice canon 5d iv but never have needed a macro lense until now. Would be cool to get some nice shots of everything

That green stag (I think) is huge! I just sold a big purple/blue one I had and kind of regret it now.

Awh man yours is gorgeous. I think that was the first SPS frag we put in. Wish it would grow vertically like yours - it’s got a lean to it LOL.

I recently picked up those same lens and had the same focus issues as you. Untill I went into "Pro mode". In that mode I can dial in the focusing kind of like a normal 35mm camera. After I found that out I've gotten A LOT better pics. I'd try that finding your phones PRO mode before returning them.
