Hi sorry I just wanted to make a post about a potential scammer I don’t know if they are still in the group/forum but the screen name is albany77 all the info is in the pictures. First is the message on here and I go to reply to the pm and it’s miraculously gone so I figured maybe a glitch and message them through text. Anyways long story short I think it’s a scam maybe I’m wrong but better safer than sorry.

I got a similar message from someone on her also saying hey reach out to my friend in new York whos husband dies who used to be on here they have what your looking for but never followed through. It just came off fishy from the get go to me.

Why do you think it's a scam? Because they won't use the gifts and services side of the payment app? That's not uncommon because it costs them somehting. If you added five or ten dollars to cover the fee, maybe they would've been okay with it.

Nowadays your area code has less to do with where you actually live and more to do with where you lived when you got your first cell phone.

I read the rest of the texts with an Australian accent in my head. It was almost jarring when I saw they were in Illinois.

They also said that her son has paypal via his work. Why do they have to do paypal friends and family? Because paypal friends and family has no returns or way to get your money back and is very commonly used in scams. Also the area code is for Louisiana so pretty suspicious aswell.

Believe it or not I’ve covered it many times it’s only like 3$ for 125. I do it sometimes if they say they won’t I say I’ll cover fees associated with g&s usually they change their tune when I say that. But the big thing is I asked 2-3 times and they wouldn’t send a picture of the board.

Yes but what the scammers do is take your money and dissappear, there is no part, and friends and family has no protection so you're out that money nothing you can do
