Did not see this until I turned the lights on. Looking from back right to left front corner of the tank. Is this seam failure?

Turns out it was just me being paranoid. It is a 2 year old Red Sea, so I'm sure you can understand why. But the stuff I was seeing was on the outside of the seam, not underneath, and could be removed with a scraper. Is there a way to remove a thread? Hate to call everyone's attention to something I don't need help with afterall.

Totally understood and I think it would be foolish not to keep an eye on the seams of any RS tank. In addition to the photos I posted of my Gen 2 reefer 300 seams which is still running this is my gen 2 reefer 170 that failed in the upper corner of a vertical seam.

I don't know the technical name but it's the seam slowly being compromised by algae intrusion sounds good lol. That is actually between the seam guard and the glass and not quite to the actual seam yet but I have no reason to believe it will stop once it reaches the seam.

Delamination. No bueno.

Silicone and Glass create an extremely strong bond when fully cured. Delamination is when that bond is either never created, poorly created, or something is slowly ripping the bond apart.
