Seneye

I'm new to the hobby and have just setup a 55 gl using dry rock and live sand, keen to keep the unwanted pests out. Do I need to sterilise a secondhand seneye I have just purchased? It's probably been out of water and dry for over a week. If I do, want do you recommend using? Would vinegar be adequate, obviously I don't want to damage to seneye.

You should be fine to give it a good rinse in RODI water.
