Setting Up Doser

Hello,

Setting up my doser to run Core7. My questions are:
1. Do I set the solutions to dose throughout the day evenly?
2. Is the starting dose still the recommended 2ml per 26 gallons?
3. Should certain solutions be dosed at certain times ideally? (3a/b at night vs all day for example)

I run most of my doses during the day. Originally I ran it more evenly over a 24hr period. However after I started reading about the people using Alk monitors it seems that most alk use happens during the lighting period so I moved my doses over to happen mostly throughout the day now.

I’m sure others will have different opinions though.

Which dosers are you using?

Also I found the 2mL / 26gallons to be a bit high as a starting point.

I have a 3 channel Kamoer Doser. Planned on combining 3a & 3b.

That should be fine, I did have some issues with solidification in the lines.

Thank you. That’s the first I’ve heard of this issue. Everyone seemed to say it was fine to do and it saved me having to sell my 3 channel and buying a 4 channel.

I will keep a close eye on this. Maybe Tim can chime in?
