Shells' Reef Tank

I am in the process of moving so I thought I would do a tank build/upgrade/move thread

We (my husband and I) started with reef tanks back in 1996. We had a 40 gallon and it lasted for a few years until children. When my youngest was about to turn 6, and I had some spare time on my hands, I wanted to get back into reef tanks.

I re-started with a 24 g AP

Quickly realized it was too small and upgraded to a 90.

Since we were going to put in new flooring - It was the perfect time to upgrade, once again, and pushed it to a 180g.

After being set up for about 5 months

Now the move .......

In preperation for the move, I bought the exact same dimension tank to set up in the new house and then move the corals to it. This way my light canopy will fit and I can then slowly move the corals and then take my time re-setting up my tank.
Here is the temp tank rolled into the new house

This will be the new location of my tank. Still need to do some work in this room..

Over the weekend, we moved the corals to the temporary tank. And by temporary I mean clamps holding hoses, fishing line holding up racks....
T E M P O R A R Y. Better get a move on, moving over my other tank. So far no casualities and everyone seems to be happy.
