DIY canopy. I'm glad you like it. My wife didn't like the look of my LEDs so I built this. Of course I took the situation and a chance to upgrade. I put T5s retrofitted in there. I just anchored hardwood into the studs with lag screws for strength. Then added the wood you see. Then paint.
Unfortunately it's not removeable. I did make sure there is a large gap. My lights set pretty high. Hopefully this isn't a problem later.
Btw, I really like the T5/Led combo

Anyway, for those using nyos skimmer, did you have to raise the skimmer height in the sump? Read that nyos water height is 22cm but the water level in sump is about 27cm.

I'm running a nyos 120, and I did not raise it.

My new reefer350 arrived yesterday and today installed, but r/h aqua is not on the cabinet. It is on the air about 3 milimeter but the other side fixed on cabinet.
Why?
Is it a failure in aqua?
Can i fill it full water?

Yes, it should be flush with the cabinet on the backside and hang over the edge of the cabinet on the frontside. That way when the cabinet doors are in the closed position, the doors and the aquarium are flush with each other.

I got ya... I didn't quite understand your first post, so I took a shot at what I thought you meant

I also had a small gap on one end when I set my Reefer 450 up. However, once you start filling the aquarium with water, you will notice that the self leveling foam will compress and then the aquarium will rest on all of it. NOTE: please make sure the tank is level front-to-back and left-to-right before any water is added.

I like the 3/4" size for my 750. It appears vivid does not sell locline in their site? That wye piece appears to be a locline adapter? A single stream of flow is too much for my varios 8. Sand will not stay put as it comes factory.
