Can see a stark difference when T5 kicks on. Really not as blue as it looks im running reds,greens and whites pretty heavy.

It is bright. I hung some black panda film on wall behind tables yesterday. I'm sure the dark glass on back and deeper water is going mellow things out. I should be able to get t5 alot closer and turn down the v2+ once all set up.
T5 is really bright and powerful all on its own though.
It is driving the wife crazy though. But that's my job hahahaha

For sure going for t5 hybrid on both tanks. Trying to source hybrid kit for my photon v2+ right now just no luck.

There's a kit available for the Aquaticlife hybrid fixture from Reef Breeders. I spoke to Logan directly and asked about it. Basically replaced the rails that come with the fixture to spread it out from 7 inches to 8.5 inches and brackets for the Photon.

I did end up getting the kit from Reef Breeders and how its currently set up now.

Ok... I was only a few pages deep on this and figured I'd respond while I was there. I'm on autopilot from lack of sleep and going full throttle so figured I'd do it before I dosed off in my chair reading the thread.

Lol no worries welcome to my crazy build. I'm not sure I'd bother reading thread at this point Its 13 pages in and only thing I've done is upgrade lamp and basicly tore house half apart waiting on tanks that where supposed to be here cpl weeks ago now.

Some beautiful things are happening in sump Ats finally starting to show some actual green after who knows how long. Ive been baking some dics down there that are starting to get covered in coraline. This transition is going to be glorious im sure.
Pretty sure I have enough tiles to do entire floor of 1st tank All they need is a good cleaning and good to go.

Food time
Beginning to think I've been starving my shrooms lately. Probably should check my params now that Ats is turning green. Running my shrooms at much higher par lately.
Something @FarmerTy said the other day really made sense. FEED them.
I have noticed my shrooms won't eat when they aren't hungry. But they have been gobbling up whatever I throw at them lately. They do like and really probably do need a consistent diet of meaty stuffs to thrive.
Anyhow my main goal in setting up ATS was nutrient export. Win the battle with nuisance algae but at same time balance out how much food I can feed and keep params where i want to keep them.
A little baby action just for fun. The little Magic Carpet nub closed up and ate almost instantly with mama.
