Oh man. With LED Set at 21" from surface it appears I can actually turn the back bank of T5's on with little to no effects on the middle. Got me an extra 25par on Minecraft top rack with 2 actinic.
Did I mention I've been keeping the 24x48" lagoon lit with single 24" photon v2+? It may not work for everyone but I need the ends sitting at 25-50 par for the sensitive shrooms.
IN all im getting decent coverage on floor with it alone. 80-110 par top rack
70-100 par just below to middle and where frag racks sits up front
The leds are powerful and set at right height you can get decent coverage.
So this T5 may just end up not being a very expensive led hanger afterall.
Peep the rack in back;)

Thats awesome lol I got one pretty much same spot. Hoping it either walks out of crease or mom walks off plug onto disc soon so I can grab it.
Nice! Mine was a rip in half split lol.

I was surprised how fast it sprouted into a shroom heas vs the Kmaintls

For sure man some of them are super fast compared to others. How quick did the kmaintl start dropping babies for you? The big one you sent is probably close to 2" now and about to start popping some nice red streaks soon. Cant really see it in the pic. Super hard to get a good shot of them where they are at.

Thats epic bro. 10 yrs keeping these old school JBs around is quite an accomplishment!

Yea i used to work in san mateo and was a bay area coral reefers member on facebook so had all the good hookups.

Mark Poletti was local shroom royalty and another unrelated local poletti named john tried to steal all his glory by hoarding all the local jawbreakers.

If John still reefs, he likely has the biggest JB collection in the bay area though.

Labor day weekend picture dump.
T5 on full effect. Gonna wait a cpl days and swap out one of the actinic with a purple or blue + and see what that does for par.
I need at least 200 par on back rack somehow. I am trying to get a few more hard corals in the mix to help out with calcium usage as well as deep down inside i probably am a stick and torch head. I just need to see if I can safely get it to happen here. If not there's always tank 2:D

If im not mistaken arnt t5's not really readable with a par meter? I thought that I read somewhere that you can't get an accurate reading of a t5 light with a par Meter. I might be wrong though.
