which silicon can i use for sealing and handling a 225gallon tank. any thing from home depot that i can use, because my tank got a good 1-2" thin chip on the bottom corner of front panel glass (no crack line or anything) and it currently half way filled with water for leak check but no leak at all.

please let me know thank you very much.

GE 100% Silicon. Get the stuff that does not have the mildew and mold chemicals in it. Just 100% Silicon.

what about DAP aquarium sealer will it do the job

This is what I used to reseal and patched up the crack I had on my 270. It doesn't show the 10oz. tube but they have it and only $8.99

Only 1 from home depot that you can use is GE Silicone I I was recommended it from my local reef club by many and it has work great for me! This is it Imageshack - neongoby2.jpg
