I have a Royal exclusiv Deluxe 200 and a BK mini 160. I love the features of the deluxe but it is oversize for my total water volume of 225 gallons. Do I have any options beside the mini? Timer, water level, pump speed?

Thanks

David

Somewhere I read that on this forum that when you're running both a fleece roller and a skimmer you need to downsize the skimmer.

Why do you want to downsize? You always set it to pull less, if you want, and keep all of the benefits of the increased gas exchange.
Exactly this. With the light bio load I have and the filter roller my skimmer is basically just a jumbo air stone. My experience is that you can never have too much gas exchange but I’m sure someone will have an example of going overboard!
