Skimmer tuning question

So on my current tank I haven't ran a skimmer... And the last time I used one was about 8 years ago, so I'm rusty to say the least with tuning one!

Looking for more of a dry skim, does this look ok so far? Skimmer has been running for under an hour

Is this a brand new skimmer (never been in use before)?

If so, you should plan on running it for a day (or longer) for it to properly break in.

Let it run for an hour between adjustments, unless overflowing.
The bubbles should get larger as organics accumulate in the neck and cup
