I’m looking to upgrade to a larger protein skimmer for my tank and have narrowed it down to the Deltec 2000i and the Seatorch UN-220IN. Right now I’m leaning toward the Seatorch.
My current skimmer is a Bubble King 200 Mini, and the tank is a Red Sea 750XL. If anyone is running either of these skimmers, I’d really appreciate hearing your opinions or experiences with them.
Thank in advance

I have the Seatorch um-in 200. It’s a beast and built like a tank. Ive never personally seen a royal exclusiv bubble king, but I’ve heard the Seatorch is on par with the build quality at a fraction of the price.

Where are you located? I’m in Florida, and I had to order my Seatorch from Australia. It took just under a month from the time I ordered it until it was being delivered.

I also picked up their fleece roller, and its also built like a tank.

Im seriously thinking of going all in on Seatorch, and having them build me a custom sump and add their xpower return pumps. That is how impressed I am with their quality.

Here is the online manual for their skimmers if interested.

Also, if you haven’t already watched it, search YouTube for Seatorch skimmer and watch the video from “Parker’s reef”.

His video is the one that convinced me to go with Seatorch.

If and when you do go with Seatorch. Reach out to Joey. He’s been a tremendous help.

I’m located in Southern California, and I really like the look and functionality of the Seatorch. I also checked out their roller mats, and they look nice as well. What size tank are you running the 200IN on? I’ve been debating between the 200 and the 220.

Yes, it does, but hopefully yours will arrive sooner than you think. I was expecting a few months and I recall i ended up having it at my door in about 3-4 weeks.

Hey everyone,

My Sea Torch protein skimmer just arrived and I’ve got it fully assembled. First impressions are excellent—it looks super clean, and the build quality is really impressive. I’d say it’s right up there with Royal Exclusive in terms of craftsmanship (I’m comparing it to my bubble king skimmer).

I haven’t put it in the tank yet, but I’m planning to do that in the next couple of days. Shipping took about 2–3 weeks, which honestly felt pretty quick.

So far I’m really liking it—now just hoping it performs as well as people say it does once I get it
running.

Been running the UM 130 skimmer from Seatorch and I love this skimmer...super easy to dial in and started pulling allot of trap out within 2 days. It took under 2 weeks to arrive and I'm super happy with the quality and performance.

Will be picking up the filter roller, return pump, 4 of their LM 30 LEDs and another skimmer when I upgrade to a 180 next year.
