Both of mine are the v1.1 (old) version and they are both completely silent. It was one of the first things I noticed when I first got them. right away I noticed that the fan noise from my old lights were gone and these Smat Farms were much quieter.

I wonder if the fan guard was just bent or possibly misaligned slightly. I did have to play with the guards on one of mine to get it all aligned perfectly.

Same here, I don't think I've ever heard the fan kick in and I'm running 3 channels at 100% and the first channel at 50-60%.

V2 fan is much louder than v1.1 but I think it’s because it goes to max speed , I can’t hear my v1.1 running ever

Anyone have an issue with these nuts on the mount being dangerously small? They almost slip through the slots. I noticed it on the first set I bought, but didn't use their mount, and forgot, but this is going on my coral QT.

Nothing a washer can't resolve, but a big oversight if you ask me.

I obviously noticed this. I thought it was a very weird choice as well. I need to do the same and get some small washers actually. Thanks for the reminder. I don't want to leave that as is.

Wow I didn’t realize there were so many led bars on the market, the meso looks promising
I have Orphek and Xho's, which compliment each other, but the Quanta bars combine both of their features together in one package and at a cheaper price. They're also built here in the States.

Have you had good growth with these settings? I have a 30g long with two of these lights and I’m not getting much growth and my gsp has turned brown..
