Thank you! Spent a lot of time planning this one. I do have some OCD tendencies, I won’t lie.

I wanted to learn a little more about your fuge. How big is it? And what kind of macro do you have currently?
No problem. It is a 75 gallon tank with a center divider. Side on the left is for "spinning" cheato and Ulva. Side on the right is for red ogo,pom pom, and red mangroves. Current I have very little red ogo as it is the best fish food by far with ulva in second.

My belief is the the ulva and cheato do all the nutrient work and the pom pom and ogo provide an aesthetic appeal with pods crawling everywhere.

What else would you like to know?

Thanks. How do you keep your chaeto spinning? Do you find it helps? My chaeto is so dense at this point its just grows wall to wall. Your system is looking amazing.

I just up the return line and a power head to create a whirlpool. No idea if it helps. I don’t have any dead spots and it looks cool. That’s all I can say.
yes I remember it! Could use a decent trim.
Thank you. Feel free to stop by if you are ever in the neighborhood.

Babysitting some corals for a friend in the coral QT. Not my normal MO to have lps in my systems, so good little change on scenery.

Anyone else jerry rig something to use as a reminder to complete a task. My ocd will cringe every time I see this… which will motivate me to complete the task within a few days.
Use painters tape and cardboard:

Also made some upgrades to the 55 gallon system in the fish room. Going to house some non reef safe fish. Changed filtration, added glass top, upgraded power heads & heaters, added some rock and need to add more but ran out of my stash.

Surprisingly enough when the shipment finally arrived yesterday (2 full days of Fedex delays) there was about %80 survival rate. Now there was some true DOA's in the bag and some struggling to live. The DOA's and those struggling to live ( about 20) where rinsed and put in the DT. GONE within 15 seconds. Never seen wrasses act like that.

The shipment came with a lot more than ordered and some already where tending to eggs on there underside.

I have had it for just over a year now. It eats fresh clams from the Asian market. I freeze them, then cut them open, chop them up, then refreeze into cubes.

I got mine about 45 days ago from Dr reef (QT) but he would not eat the mysis and brine shrimp for me. I tried for 3 days and then I tried putting a clam in on the half shell and started eating it the same day. I did that for 3 days and then he started to eat mysis & brine. Yesterday and today he started being finicky again so I guess I will try your way and see if that will work. Thanks for the info.

Mine is very similar. If he is really hungry, aka the big fish ate the clam before he got a chunk he will either wait till the next meal or just have a few mysis/pacific plankton, but much prefers the clam. Fresh clam from the market and doing it yourself is what more cost effect them buying clams on a half shell.

Lots of updates for this weekend.
Took the gen 3 radions off and replaced with 6 sky panels.

Hopefully can sell a few of these and maybe use one or two in the fish room.
The gig has won and had another rtn episode with the shortcake. It was cut up and moved around the tank to hopefully keep the strain alive.

With the panels off thought I would take a few top downs with the iPhone.
