snail ?

I just saw one of my sand sifting snails in my back chamber (I have a 12 gal JBJ nano). I tried to catch him to put him back in the sand and he fell deeper in the chamber (where my sponge and purigen are).

Is it okay for it to stay back there, or should I put the effort into catching him?

He's might not have enough food there plus he will get lonely and he's a *sand sifter

He might come out by himself, if not you can siphon him out.
