How do coral colors compare in each tank.
There are specific species or acro types that look much better under leds or t5s. Overall coral colors are great in either system. Main things as I have stated multiple times in this thread is water quality and consistance. If the water isn't right you aren't going to get nice corals, period.

I understand water quality is what matters. I meant could you tell any difference in color alone with the different lights. Like how the Coral lab ab+ program showed pics on a montipora having a nicer colored growth ring.

Well, it is a little hard to explain through the computer usually when people visit and ask this question the answers are quite visible as I have multiples of some corals under different lights and systems.
Certain types of corals use as montis and tenuis seem to look much nicer under t5s, colors are much richer and bolder. However I have noticed millis and stags seem to br nicer under radions as they seem to benefit from the concentrated light allowing for better colors. Usually acros that are nice under leds tend to look nicer under t5s.
If I were to pick 1 type of light I would use radions as I have already made a schedule that seems to be able to produce similar colors to my t5 tank with the benefits of less electricity and heat. However, if someone is not as tech savvy the t5s are still great for creating uniform color and growth in sps.

Thank you, I hope you are enjoying your pieces!

I had a little extra time this week so I decided to take some pics of pieces I have not posted before.

Very nice!

What is the last coral you posted from July 5th, the one that is red with yellow tips?

Also what are the last two corals you posted in this one, last Tuesday.

Sir,

I already am running a tank with Radions and am starting up a second tank using T5/ Reefbrite XHO. I have thought about adding the aquatic life T5 kit to my Radions, but I am not a big fan of changing what has been going really for me.

The last piece is the TGC Kachow Tenuis, the other is a frag that I saved and is starting to color back up.
And the other piece is another piece that I am still coloring up.

Gorgeous corals as always Hung, which one is this?
This is a piece that I am still coloring up at the moment, it is showing some promise.

Beautiful collection!

In one of your earlier posts you had a pic of a RR ultimate rainbow passion? For me the link was broke and I couldn't see the pic. I got a piece in trade, but I dont see it anywhere when I do a search? Do you have a pic of it? Just curious, I was wondering if the guy I got it from had the name right cause I couldn't find it anywhere

So the real thing to start with is just good water.
Do you dose anything other than the big 3 + waterchanges?

This piece is amazing! Does this one have a name, or is it a no-namer you found? You're collection is incredible! Do you ever sell locally? I'm local to you and don't recall ever seeing anything form you for sale in the local boards. Otherwise you'd have a lot of my money!

Keep up the great work!

Not really, just weekly 5 gallon water changes.
