Other than Dr. Reef/Affordable Aquaria, where is a good place to buy a CBB? I don't ask because I'm opposed to buying from Dr Reef - he's honestly the front runner right now - but only because I already know about him as a source. Bonus points if they'll ship for Saturday delivery so I don't have to take a day off work to receive the package... I don't mind letting corals sit in the shipping bags a little longer, but I prefer not to keep fish in their bags any longer than I need to.

My LFS doesn't get them in terribly often - I think they've had one in the last year, and at the time I didn't need one.

I just had a good experience with Saltwaterfish.com... Foxface and Hawkfish came in healthy and disease free but looks like there's a waitlist for the CBB.

If you want a pre-QT fish, TSMaquatics can get one in as well... I see them from time to time but I'm sure if you request it they can get one in and QT fairly quick.

CBBs are tough it's seems. I've heard of some even pre QTed coming in skinny and don't do well. Others have no problems. I bought mine local but I have several stores within a 1 hour drive and I don't buy pre QTed fish and do my own observation and conditioning in an established tank I keep running for that purpose.

Yes its available and has an option for saturday delivery.
I guess I should have specified that I want to receive a living fish, not just an attractive fish corpse to fertilize my roses with.

Large size, fat and eating

$400 is a bit out of budget for me... not saying it's not worth it, just that I can't afford it. Gorgeous fish though!

Well, I guess technically I could afford it... I just can't quite pull the trigger on a $400 fish. 😅

Has anyone ever bought a CBB from Blue Zoo? They're priced around the same as @Affordable Aquaria but have Saturday delivery. I have heard about some wonky things with Blue Zoo and unexplained charges suddenly appearing after people have ordered from them.

Any of those will be shipped directly from a wholesaler, no QT or treatment. I QT and treat before selling. All eating. Aussie fish are hardier and more colorful, handling is a big part of that.

Above information is incorrect, We do not drop ship from wholesalers.
We have 3 warehouses in Tulsa OK. Thats where we ship our fish from.

We are the leading qt vendor in USA.
At affordable Aquaria we only condition the fish and make sure they are healthy and eating. At Dr. Reef we qt them according to our protocol.

I think PacEast may have been talking about Blue Zoo.

In any case, I did end up getting a copperband from you through the Affordable Aquaria side. Still hasn't eaten any aiptasia, but I have seen him eating both frozen and freeze-dried, and he's been out and about since day one. At the moment he's very obsessed with his reflection on the tank walls. I know you can't guarantee that they'll eat aiptasia, so that's just me commenting on his behavior and how I have terrible luck with aiptasia control, nothing more. =)

Great packaging and the CBB (plus the other fish) were outstanding in quality when they got to me, so kudos on a well-run operation.

Thank you for your support.
If you dont have any corals I would suggest Klein butterfly. But they are not coral safe

Reef Beauties .com (I have about a dozen of their butterfly fish... though not a Copperband.)
