I am back!

I am now getting excited all over again as I know I will have a reef tank soon.

First up is to finish off a few things and start the cable management solutions. Also start adding the RGB LEDs.

Very nice, I like the orphek mods you made gives them a much warmer look

Yes it is working out quite well. I still need to stain the wood and I will re work the antenna to the inside of the light.

I am also changing out the power cord to a woven cloth one.

Gotta love vintage look wiring. Used it for guitar chords, speaker wire and power wires.

@Elder1945 What kind of LED strips did you buy? I ordered some off Amazon and they have the same connectors as yours but it kept popping out and wouldn't stay plugged in.

I do not use Amazon LEDs.. Most are 100% fine but the ones I use are UL and are made for me. Any decent LED should be fine though.

@Elder1945 Awesome new equipment! I am using a Triton sump and will not be using any filter socks as well. It feels so good!

I am legitimately excited about using the sk-3000. Some products are just great ideas.

4 Nero 5 on a 70 gallon! Will it blend?

We will find out LOL. I like having quite a few points of flow and with the Nero low profile I think they will be a great fit.

Sometime for the sps life, you need to sacrifice luxury items... like sandbeds

:p

What are those in the last pic?

They are AV cabinet fans for the electronics cabinet I am building on the back of the system. I want 1 plug going out of the system to power everything.

The cabinet will be packed with electronics and need to monitor the temp and have auto cooling solution.

I am working on it now.. Seems to all work quite well.

Please tell me those aren't fans that I will have to trade a paycheck for.

:)

They are actually not that bad.
