Good morning the file won't openThought I'd share my spreadsheet any suggestions welcome
Also you welcome to use it
I was thinking along those lines thank you again.I just copied and pasted it for each tank
Here is my source for the data I usedActual average ocean alk is 6.5 but we typically use 7 for reefing.
You may want to look into scientific papers, or even do a search here, for your info rather than a place that sells fish. Here is my source for the data I used
Proper Water Parameters for Home Aquariums

6-8 is it's average reef measurements I assume there's some fluctuations
And it suggested 8-12dkh is what's I found on many sites so that's what I went with
I never claimed it to be fact, I simply referenced where I obtained my data and did multiple searches and that's all I could find sadly I don't have a degree to be able to decode scientific papers or where to find them, while I appreciate your feedback it would be nice if you could reference your source for this value you have obtainedYou may want to look into scientific papers, or even do a search here, for your info rather than a place that sells fish.
The ocean is a big place and the average is not 6-8.
Yes you can run a tank at different levels, and
our tanks may vary by that, much but the ocean does not.
Check your facts.
