I recently acquired this colony and wanted to get an id on what type of sps it is. Any help would be appreciated. FWIW, it is a maricultured piece from Lombok.

Pretty aquaculture pink millipora. Probably with change color once it's in your tank for a month or two.

make sure its a good one.... if it's thin and pale looking it's good if it looks mean theres a good chance it's bad!!! google images of acro crabs not all are good....also im assuming you didnt dip the coral since the crab is still there be very carefull with that those wild colonies can bring major pests and reek havoc in a small system....good luck with the piece...:) i cant seem to keep them i get one out 4 to take....i lost the rest to rtn.. i personally stick with aquacultered for this reason.,..:(

It is indeed a good acro crab. The small white with black banded "forehead" variety, but thanks for the heads up. Indeed, I did dip this colony because I did not know it had a crab in it. I dipped it in revive for about 5 minutes like I do with all of my newly acquired corals. I am surprised the crab made it out of the dip, but he seems happy enough cruising around the branches.
