I got this piece from a local guy last year, but he doesn't know what it is, can someone help me ID it? It is the brown piece with neon green polyps encrusting towards my Oregon tort.

Glad I could help. It is one of my Favorite corals.. People don't understand how bright those polyps are against the dark brown back ground.

That's a beautiful piece. People really don't can't see how beautiful it is from the pics.

The polyps are BRIGHT!!! Definetely a unique piece.

I got a frag of this from hot in balt 3 years ago....was known as a chocolate chip monti......chad a think i gave you a frag a year ago....hot has there colony under 10000 and it looks way different then any others i have seen.Coral glows in my tank
