Yeah I think the ones from KPAquatics say they're from Florida and they're like $10 bucks.Yalls guess is as good as mine. Bought it in Florida, guy said that some local divers brought it in with some fish they caught and he didn’t know what it was so I got it for really cheap

0.0 mine hasn’t yet. I’ve got a really nice blue maxima. I feed him some algae pellets and mysis shrimp whenever I can find him, probably 3x a weekAccording to the description if they are handled correctly they can live a long time, but may go after some clams and such.

Yes that looks correct, I know he was collected in the gulf and the pics online look very similar. Thank you!looks to be like Echinaster spinulosus, maybe check that out?
