Hey everyone, I just completed setting up a 8x2 plywood prop tank with a 120 gallon sump. I've reefed in the past and have been out of it for about 6 years after a move. I always wanted to see if I could turn a profit on aquaculture (not as a primary job, more as a side hustle hobby). I bought a lot of it on FB marketplace and some stuff new. I'm about $4k in the hole at the moment but that includes a lot of fun equipment, supplies and livestock (about 60 frags). It looks like the hobby has made a lot of improvements in the last few years. I jumped on an APEX a3 and I'm impressed with all the automation I can set up. I want to focus on Zoas and soft coral at the moment. I bought a big 40 frag pack from an online seller and he threw in a bunch of SPS. If anyone wants to trade for some zoas or mushrooms in the Delmarva area (Or up to around DC/Philly) let me know!
