If you are considering food depravation as punishment, I call dibs on his share of the bacon.yes, he did not do well in a tournament, and the amount we put into his fencing, it enrages us to see how badly he did. He is only focusing on reefing. Which we fully support, but we don't pay for that, we pay for fencing.
Small pancakes. You could have it ALL!If you are considering food depravation as punishment, I call dibs on his share of the bacon.
True story — I was 12, my brother 10. Saturday wrestling tournament — semi finals. Very competitive western PA. Kid in brothers weight class in other bracket loses his match. His family (and brother who was also waiting on their semi final match) are seated next to us. Anyway, he comes to sit down and his mother says “go sit somewhere else, losers don’t sit with us”. My mother says “you sit right here with our family”.My nephew was a fencer in college at Vasser. We went to one of his tournaments, but when he lost, we told him he should walk home to give him time to think about his failure.

that sounded wrongMmmm...stewy lewis.....and the news
My Dad started playing trumpet when he was a kid (back in the mid-40's). That was his hobby. He practiced five hours a day. FIVE HOURS! Yes, he was a great player, but he let it get in the way of his schooling so bad he had to repeat the eight grade! Still, my Grandparents let him play and move forward with this thing he loved. Mom and Dad were the same with me. Although I didn't practice quite that much, music DID get in the way of school with me as well, as I spent hours upon hours with my horn on a daily basis. Mom and Dad were still cool with it, though. So I passed that belief system to my children, NEVER getting in the way of their hobbies and providing every opportunity for them. If it got in the way of other things, so be it.yeah its living vicariously through your kids, saw this kind of crap all the time when I worked with the schools and had to do home checks on kids because there was a tip they were being abused. parent is like yeah I did xyz because they lost the match or didn't win the science fair! some people really shouldn't be parents :(
