Stocking 40g breeder -

•Fish•
2 normal clownfish
1 Blue Throat Fairy Wrasse
1 Springeri Damsel
2 Bangaii Cardinalfish
1 Leopard Wrasse

▪︎Coral▪︎
Mainly Euphyllia
Hammers & Torchs, although currently only 1 Hammer and 1 Frogspawn
Also...
1 Green Monticap
1 Green Finger Leather
1 Fire Finger Digi
(I think it's something else... no green and seems healthy, 1 bad spot is healing already in my tank from where it came from... but besides the green issue it looks like a fire finger digi)

Thoughts? Fish should be okay together right they're all peaceful and reef safe I've read? Anything else I could add in terms of fish?

Coral I know I can add a lot more and have many hammers/torches lined up so would appreciate spending less time on this than the fish when you comment with your opinion or thoughts etc

Clowns can get pretty nasty - mine claimed a corner of my 40B and don’t appreciate guests. You have a lot of open water swimmers which may cause the clowns to get territorial. I would personally pick a few of the fish to swap for sand/rock dwelling fish to reduce overall competition.
In my 40B I have:
2 clowns
Coral beauty angel
Kamohara fang blenny
Aurora goby + pistol shrimp

Also a royal gramma and Pygmy red roosterfish in qt.

I definitely plan to get a Pistol & goby pair for sandbed along with my 2 sand sifting conchs

I just hope all of the fish will work together. They are arriving tomorrow. The springeri wasn't available so just the wrasse and 2 Bangaii

Fingers crossed

Think I'd be alright to replace the Springeri with a Leopard Wrasse? With the other Wrasse it'd look CRAZY lol

Blue throat wrasses are better for bigger tanks. They are among the most aggressive and active fairy wrasses. Evolved (Hunter) says 75 gallons. I haven't kept one. I know Minh @OrionN has experience.

Which leopard wrasse? Meleagris? They get pretty big.
