I was going to get the NUVO fusion 40 gal. but then saw a 46g bow-front with a 10g sump for sale. It's much cheaper and gives me more display space and water for fish. I'm thinking of stocking it with this list and in this order:
1. (2) ocellaris clownfish (3.5" each, fully grown)
2. lyretail hawkfish (5")
3. midas blenny (4")
4. six-line wrass (3")
5. coral beauty angelfish (4")
What does everybody think of this list? Will these fish all get along? I want my fish to all be very active, colorful, and interesting. I read that the lyretail hawkfish acts more like an anthias. It likes to swim into strong currents so that sounds cool. I'm going to do a shallow live sand bed and very porous pukani dry rock seeded with live rock rubble in the sump so I think I'll end up with 45-50 gallons of water. Is this about the right amount of fish, if added slowly. I don't want to overstock. Or do you think I could add even more? I'd love to add a banggai cardinal to the list, too, but don't want it to get picked on.
