I'm getting ready to setup a 100 gallon FOWLR and I was looking for suggestions on how to stock it.

I definitely want to have 1 or 2 clown fish. What other fish would go well in my setup? I like to see movement and not into predators.

Thanks in advance.

Anthias and wrasses are active, colorful, and peaceful, though they benefit from 3+feedings a day and need a tight fitting lid.

You could try a bristletooth tang, such as a kole or tomini tang. They stay smaller than most tangs and are generally not as aggressive.

You could also pull off a yellow tang, or a squaretail. Rabbitfish and smaller angels could also work. Of course, only go with one or two tangs depending on size. Maroon clowns are beautiful, but can be aggressive. Valentini puffers are a favorite of mine since they are colorful and full of personality. Maybe a harlequin tusk?

I'm also a big fan of Mandarin dragonets. I know they're a bit more difficult to care for but would there be any compatible issues?

A mandarin may be doable after a year or so as long as you have a very good, stable pod population as you can't rely on it eating mysis or pellets. They are very peaceful fish, but may be picked on if you end up with a super aggressive tang.
