Hi everyone, I am rehoming a few fish and wanted some pointers

Here is my current tank stocking list for a 125Gallon. I am rehoming my Naso soon as it is getting a bit too big, as I did with my Sailfin earlier this year. Wondering what fish I can add next after the Naso is gone.

Swallowtail angel

Blue throat trigger

Naso Tang

Yellow Tang

Leopard Wrasse

Firefish

Royal Gramma

Yellow watchman Goby

Clownfish pair

The following two are in there but I have not seen the goby for months, and the wrasse has been missing for a week now, and I think it might have died of old age.

Jester Goby (MIA)

Fantail Fairy Wrasse (MIA)

I’ve never had Anthias, but I’ve always wanted some. Are they actually difficult? I feed a lot and often so that might not be a problem, would a group of three be okay? And what species do you all recommend? And can I mix them?

It’s either that or the boring old trio of Fairy Wrasses, although I’ve done that before.

Also open to other suggestions

I have a mixed tank so coral nippers are a nono.

I love my lyre-tails, but they are little piggies.

Would love some borbonius anthias, but can’t bring myself to buying 2-3 of them @$500 + per.

The $38 lyretails are good enough for now.

Pretty easy to keep. You already said you feed a lot, so you are covered.

They say to keep them in odd #s. I started with 3 and one died. Two have been getting along fine, so idk if that’s necessarily true.

And anyone have any experiences with mixed species of Anthias?

And personally best looking ones (while being reasonably expensive/hardy)

I’ve got 5 lyretails, 2 dispar, 3 bimacs, 2 red bar, 2 fathead, 2 pink square, 3 bartletts and a blotchy. They all do a little chasing of each other-even intraspecies but nothing serious.
Like the Bartletts for color, motion and inexpensive.

I've had extremely good luck with Ignitus anthias. I feed them at least 3 times a day and they are fat and happy.

how many do you guys think I can fit in my current stock list? (With the Naso rehomed ofc)

3? Is 5 pushing it?

I’ve heard conspecifics are more likely to kill each other, will. A trio of

Lyretail
Bartlett
Ingitus

Work, with one of them male? (Not sure which of these males are the prettiest)

5 is fine. They aren’t big fish.
Any suggestions on the spread of the species? 2-2-1? All 5 different? All same? 2-3?

Just not sure if Anthias really do kill each other that often

I’ve noticed that virtually all Anthias will chase each other. Don’t know what they expect to happen if they were to catch up to the guy they’re chasing. 😊 That’s why having plenty of rock work and places to hide is key. They get chased, go into the rocks and the chase stops. Come out 1 minute later and are ignored like nothing happened. Fish are dumb. 😁
