these colonies came on my live rock (gulf-view.com) pretty kool stuff, dale told me the one colony i pointed out is cup coral? and he told me what the other hard coral was but i cant recall what he said... it grows like acro up towards the light, and the "cup coral" just grows over the live rock...

anyone know anything about coral from the gulf of mexico?

I know what this is!! But i dont remember the name...its in one of my invert books....

most likey similar, if not the same.. he just told me he places and picks up his rock in the gulf, so thats why i said that... =]
