Sump?

Alrighthere we go. I am ready to build my sump. I am thinking of going with a Berlin design for simplicity. I have a 120 oceanic with two overflows (1") and 3/4" returns. I'm just a little overwhelmed with how to place the baffles in the sump tank. The sump is a 40g breeder. I have a GFO/ Carbon reactor and a pretty good skimmer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated......
 
keep it simple and skip the baffles. Just run your tank return and skimmer return into a filter sock. crystal water and no microbubbles.
 
So I nedd to run through filter socks, over my live rock, into my skimmer, through my dual reactor, and out of my return? Should I use prefilters on my pumps?
 
Baffles will be necessary to maintain a constant water level in your sump. Without a constant water level, youll constantly be adjusting your skimmer in order to skim efficiently
