Supplement on AI SOL

Guys, I have been using the AI SOl for at least 3 months now. Prior to this I was using MH + T5. I am not very happy with the coral coloration under AI SOL, especially the acans have developed a lot of green. The coloration of my z n p is decent, their growth is also decent. I wonder what kind of supplement do I need to enhance the coloration. I know Radion is supposed to be better, however, it's price is a bit untouchable at the moment. I am hoping to add red spectrum onto the current setting......please advice.

I added 2 T5 Fiji purple bulbs to my SOL's and that made a huge difference. I have one bulb on each side of the LED's.

Can u please recommend me which light fixture do u use? Is the Fiji purple bulb 54w or 80w?

1. I would imagine you could user with the 54 or the 80 depending on how you want to set it up and your tank size.
2.You also have the option of buying a DIY LED kit to add to your AI's.
3. Lastly since you have a AI SOL you have the best option of upgrading your pucks in your current AI. AI has announced their new fixture
and also said that owners of SOL's will be able to upgrade their pucks to the new pucks found in the Phoenix or whatever the heck they are calling it. They have not yet announces a price yet but you will have the ability to customize your pucks on their website with whatever colors you want. This will let you pick and choose what LED's you want and you can just plug them into your current fixture. That sounds like the best option to me, but we aren't sure what the pricing is. I would call AI and tell them about your issue and see if they give you some information, they may not give you details but they will likely hint at what you can expect to pay and when you can get them.
