Supplemental LED

I have been thinking about going LED but decided to stick with my current HQI pendant. I have a 54 gallon corner shaped tank and my pendant is hexagonal so I don't think a rectangular LED pendant would give me a good cover. My though is to add some kind of supplemental blue LED to get more pop. I did see a hamilton stick on LED strip the would fit nicely on my pendant. Has any one tried this our have any recommendation on a different supplemental LED that would fit well over a corner shaped tank?
