Switching between AL99 and carbon

Hi.

Triton recommend that I switch between AL99 and carbon. Is it every month that I should change between them?? So there is 1 month "on" and 1 month "off" for each of them??

I think you may have misunderstood, we recommend you switch between AL99 and ROWAPhos or Phosban. Carbon should be ran as normal.

Ha ha, then I totally misunderstood it :D
So I should run carbon all time and change it once a month.
And then switch between AL99 and Rowaphos each month at the same time?? :)

As and when required, you will get a feel for your own system but generally speaking 4-6 weeks for each for stable low nutrient systems, 3-4 weeks for more nutrient rich....

Yes you can, sponge in between, carbon first, wouldn't recommend doing it with ROWA though....
