I have no idea why a check valve. I don’t have that on mine. I have auto flush using my booster pump.
To be honest I have no idea. This is the way it came out of the box from Waterbox. I never changed a thing nor Hooked it up to a booster or anything outside of a faucet, turn it on make water and back off again.

So possibly in my opinion, but I could be wrong myself as I’m not 100% sure on the mechanics of a rodi unit. But this is where it is on the line. So basically out from the membranes waste side and travels through the flush or straight through the exit line.

But at the same time I believe this is where the flow restrictor is supposed to be positioned. Again I may be incorrect. Still a learning experience for sure.

Now that you show the entire picture its obvious that the blue line is a bypass around the restrictor. Which to me is the T with the green insert . I obviously don't know what is in the second T . I would replace both T;s .Check the second T for anything in it But I would guess its a straight through T I assume you follow the instructions to use the flush line for 5 seconds before and after each use ? The video also mentions a float valve for automatic filling . Do you use that ? I would assume no water is flowing through the restrictor . So if so it is plugged. I would think the pressure build up blew the line out of the fitting . So that all points to the restrictor being plugged . Open the flush valve for fun. If you have flow than that's the issue , again assuming the second T is Open

Thinking further if the restrictor is plugged it would not be able to build up the pressure needed to blow the line off . I now more so suspect the second T

Buckeye hydro addressed this earlier! — the second tee in-line on the waste line has a sized capillary flow restrictor in it, the flow restrictor is damaged and requires replacement!

Yes the second T is not obstructed and is just a flow through valve that’s wide open inside.

I follow the 5 sec on and off every time to flush the lines according to WB instructions and the unit does come with the ATS float part but I never put it on nor used it. Still in a bag.

I took the line out of the fitting trouble shooting it today and why the unit is apart is due to me breaking the hex nipple so I need to replace that before I put it back together.

But definitely doesn’t hurt replacing the fittings. I do have good flow out of the waste it’s the RO water that’s the issue unfortunately. Water does come out but minimal at best

That's what I get for not reading through why does this site jump around ? So what is the green protrusion in the first T ? And I'm glad I'm correct. Apologies

Yes he definitely helped me with that, as you all did. I will be placing my order shortly for these parts and hopefully get this back up soon.

I figured it was the flow restrictor as mine is probably as well. I have auto flush never knew it had built in flow restrictor. It flushes but now don’t seem to restrict flow.
