Woohoo! Scored an ATI Sunpower 8 bulb T5 light for FREE! Needs some cleaning and new reflectors. But other than that seems to be working fine. Super stoked! Now just need to figure out which bulbs and which wattage I need to use when I get tank up and running. Any pointers? Thanks!

Nice! How many inches is the fixture?

I use 5 blue plus and 3 coral plus in my 8 bulb fixture.

Perfect! Very nice choices!
One of the great values of this type lighting it’s plug and play.
Highly diffused and no gadgets to “play” with.
A must for coloring up Acros.

I'm only "planning" on fish, inverts, softies and LPS. But knowing people in the hobby I'll probably change my mind lol

48" which is perfect for my 90 gallon tank!
You'll need the 48 watt bulbs. Lots of differing options you'll get. Actinics and purple for color pop, blue+ for broader spectrum with blue spectrum concentration and coral+ for a fuller spectrum whiter bulb. Blue+ and Coral+ for SPS growth, the others for color rendition. I used a G6 Pro LED with supplemental T5s (2 blue+ and 2 super actinic). I like the combination a lot.

I think you mean 48” 54 watt bulbs.
