Torch receding, space invaders dying, general health of the tank doesn't look good. Need some opinions and suggestions. Nutrients are intentionally raised because of dinos.
Nitrate 25ppm
Phosphate 1ppm image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Nutrients both too high.
It doesn’t need to be that high to fight Dino’s.
Nitrate 5ppm and phosphate.1ppm would be better targets.
High nutrients cause corals to brown out, and slow growth.

You didn't provide tank age or par numbers for your struggling coral
As far as the tank goes, I have only owned it for a year. I don't know how long the previous owner had it before me, but he did have it as just a fowler tank.
One of the torches was recieving about 80 par because a rock had cast a slight shadow on it. Moved the rock and now he's at 120 par.
Hot spot par is about 250 and the light goes as low as 50 around the edges.

So, water change then?

WC will bring those down.
Trace amounts are just fine.
You could consider carbon dosing to keep nitrate pinned if you need to.
But you might want to do that slowly, say from 25 to 20…..week….20 to 15……week….etc.

The phosphate you’ll need to pull that from the water with GFO in a reactor. Just make sure it does not zero out, or use Phos0.04 so you can just run it continuously.

Salinity and Alk must remain right on point at all times.

Probably not enough. My torches sit in 250 par.
