Thanks Freenow.
Yesterday, before that disaster my wife was shopping so I took her as I always do. I normally bring a book when she food shops because it takes her an hour and I shop like a Man so it would only take me 3 maybe 4 minutes.

While there, I finished my book so I went next door to Petco. I want to change water once before the surgery because I won't be able to do it for a couple of months and I needed salt. While there I saw this fish.
Fish.jpg

It's a fairly common fish so I asked the guy what it was. He didn't know. So I asked him how much it cost. He had no idea even though he was working in the fish dept. He called over the manager and asked her who also had no idea, so I said, what if I give you twenty bucks for the fish. Sold.

In 15 minutes, it was happily swimming in my tank. I have had these before and I probably could have gotten it from my guy for eight bucks, but I felt sorry for the little guy.

I hope your wife is doing better today. When is your surgery scheduled for? I wish I could come out there and give you a hand, but all 5 of mine are extremely full. 😢

By the way, what kind of fish IS that?

I found out that my granddaughter was at school and thought it would be a good trick to crawl under the washroom stall doors and lock them all. When asked she said " I thought it would be funny if all the kids pooped their pants. She is 4

When I first read that, I thought YOU crawled under and locked them… i was trying to figure it out until I reread it. It’s much better your way! 😂

She is much better today but looks like she got a tan. Hopefully, it will abate tomorrow.

My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday.

That fish is a Poison fanged bleeny or Stripped Bleeny.

Very cute. When my Grand Daughter Gretta was about 3 or 4 she asked her Mother when she could smoke. My Daughter said "NEVER". Why? Greta said, "Why Can't I Smoke? Susan Sarandon Smokes?"

Another time she was out shoe shopping with my Daughter Jodi and my Daughter was looking at a pair of shoes that she liked. Greta said, Mommy, why don't you buy those shoes. Jodi said, "I don't have enough money on me". Greta said "Cwedit Cwared"

Never rains but it pours Paul at least younwill get some help from friends. Our best man at out wedding died all.of a sudden, no warning, heart attack..His wife phoned me to tell me.
We have been very close friends for many years. I was in shock and couldn't get my head around his sudden death..We would do anything for one another. Zena is a good looking lady and is coming to visit and stay over a few days.
A lifelong close friend also died a few weeks back, we were friends from School days. His death was expected. He had blood cancer. Another great shock to me even though it was just a matter of time.
Makes you wonder who will be next unfortunately.
Anyway, get over that surgery soon. Am resting and my wife is able so am OK on that front. 3 friends have visited me today so at least we still have friends and family around.

We call.those fish Sabre tooth blennies
Yeah but you Brits don't speak proper English. We watched an English sereies named "Call The Midwife" and it was filmed in England. I had to have a translation dictionary handy to understand it. 😆

We gave you the language and look what you went and did with it. 😆
This is true, but when we saw you guys coming with those silly white wigs and "puffy" shirts with the red knickers, we didn't really want anything to do with you.

Like Really!!!. Does anyone stop laughing in the courtroom? 🤣

CORRECT! in fact the QT tank had to be used twice on the journey home 😉 there is s bit of water additive mixed in from the surgery.
Good job I used to be in the boy scouts and be prepared was our moto. If I hadn't I would have been dib dib dibbing all the way home. Nice to home now esp as I didn't sleep a wink all night..I'll miss the super model nurses though. 😴
Your lucky to have super model nurses...most of ours have been super sized at McDonald's...oops did I just say that out loud

Unfortunately, that is very true in America. But my Bride, after 52 years still has the same figure and I am the exact weight from when we got married. I lost over 30lbs in the last couple of years.

When you go to Europe, you really can tell how out of shape many Americans are. We eat way too much and many people feel McDonalds is a lifestyle and exercise is from the devil. I don't think I have been in a fast food establishment in decades except for coffee.

I get up every morning about 5:00, no matter how hard it is raining or snowing, and walk 2 miles in the dark, much of it is up stairs. And I'm 76. 😎
I do that to try to keep healthy so I can take care of my wife.

Ruined it more like 😆 We gave you the Mayflower, the people, civility Christianity. You gave us McDonalds 😔
This is true. Those people came here for religious freedom, then when someone disagreed with their religious beliefs, they drowned them. Nice people. 🙄

I don't know you atoll😀 but the English also gave us prejudice. My Grand father who was a Scott Protestant fell in love with my Irish Catholic Grand mother and married her. His Family disowned him. When I told a guy that was Scott this who I knew for years is response was I GUESS SO. Irish are drunken wife beaters don't you know. Its still alive today
