I've seen enough Corona commercials to know what a beach looks like. That is NOT a beach! :p

They were filming that commercial just to the right of the picture. They all had insulated bikini's on. :p

So I am sitting here watching my tank and thinking of how all the bubbles from this thing are breaking on my light fixture wondering how I am going to clean it. In 2 days I can remove it when my Grand Kids go back home.

I almost finished the 3 lights for over the Island in my new Island kitchen. These are wine barrel hoop lights.
This is one of them I built for a few bucks.

This is one that sells for $120.00

Thanks, but my goal is to grow hair.
I have lots!
Even brought in a new friend for a trim...

Any suggestions for someone with too much?

Cheers, Tony

Ps. Happy Birthday!

I know this is getting old but thank you Paul, for everything you did and continue to do for this country and for all the good reading material that you keep posting. I share a lot of opinions with you even though I have never seen combat or had a rougher time than growing up in a bad part of Chicago. A book might not be a bad idea, I love having conversations with a vet that comes through my shop, I wish I could spends days listening to his life stories. I am in awe of what a lot of vets went through and the values, integrity and ingenuity that you display. Thanks again

I'll go back to following.....

Thank you Dohc97, I really appreciate that. Many people on forums just wish I would get ich and croak mostly for my opinions about disease and sometimes for life itself. Maybe it's my PTSD. My wife told me that yesterday.

PTSD has some weird effects on different people. It probably made me "slightly" different from many people and besides that as my Veteran psychologist told me it sometimes makes you forget. That battle I was in lasted 4 or 5 hours but I only remember the very beginning and end. I have no recollection of most of the battle and am not sure what I did. (or didn't do) That is probably a good thing and something I don't want to remember as I do remember the aftermath being surrounded by over 200 bodies, ours and theirs.
I was awarded a Bronze Star for that day and I don't even know why. I received another Bronze Star while I was there and also don't remember what I did. I could have been looking for red tailed sharks in a bomb crater for all I know. But whatever I did, I also forgot. I doubt I did anything all that heroic because someone would have probably told me. I am certainly not Special Forces by any stretch of the imagination. I would have liked to, but I wasn't even close. Those guys are tough.
I know we were down to hand to hand combat as both sides used up most of the ammo, so I am real glad I don't remember that. I don't want to recall any of that or killing anyone else. We were attacked by 400 so it was really a tramatic experience, thank God I can't remember most of it.
My memory is lousy anyway, maybe from that.
PTSD also gave me thick skin. I have never gotten mad on a fish site like many people do but having a fish get ich must be a horrible experience for someone especially if that is the worst thing that has happened to you.
This is just a hobby to me, one of many. :D
There re a lot of very nice knowledgeable people on here which is why I am here. Some other forums give me the horrors so I quit them.
If you like hearing war stories, I assume you heard my recollection of that particular battle here where they interviewed me on a local radio station. It was on here before.
I am surprised they don't throw me off of this site because very few of my posts are about fish.

PS, I would rather probably be in Viet Nam than a bad neighborhood in Chicago.

Happy New Year guys. It's 6 degrees F Here now. Man weather.
I drove through Times Square the day before the party but I am so glad I was not there last night when it was 9 degrees.
Those are mostly tourists who go there. New Yorkers know better and have seen it before. 9 degrees, no bathrooms and from the street you can't see much.

13 degrees here in northern Alabama. My pool is freezing over and it is snowing. Happy New Year!

As everyone else has said, please continue to post your humor! We don’t all post but we all tag along. Thank you very much for your service as well. I’m in my 20’s and you are right about my generation. Most of us are so spoiled with everything we have and panic when the littlest things happen. Hope you have a Happy New Year. This is my grandfather when he served in Nam. He doesn’t talk about it a lot but I love to hear what he has to say about it.
