So I’ll just admit it — I’ve seen every episode of every season. The actors mostly drove me nuts but they were car guys, and fish tank guys/gals — lots for me to enjoy.

I don’t much care for the drama, and the “extras”. I don’t care much about celebrities. I don’t like that the show was a bit misleading with regards to how the hobby works.

I always enjoyed watching the fish and some of the end products were stunning. So I’ll admit that I will miss them. Heather always stuck me as a lunatic.

You are not the only one I have also.

Won’t miss it myself.. I did occasionally watch it but I always wondered how many of the fish actually survived in some of those systems. Seems a lot of these high end builds are just toys and bling for the wealthy so I’m assuming the livestock probably doesn’t get the love or attention it deserves.

I've seen a number of episodes, though wasn't super into it. I agree with the general sentiment on this thread. I also had no idea the show had been going for so long. I think I only knew about it for the past 7-8 years.

I hate that show. The tanks look like crap imo and I read an article about how they just overstock the hell out of tanks for TV then leave it up to the customer to rehouse them, resulting in a large percentage of fish dying.

I was only on for for 8 years. First episode was in 2011

I must admit this show piqued my interest in getting into reefing 5 years ago. The earlier shows weren't that bad but once they leaned towards more celebrity builds is when it soured to me. I always loved the visit to the fish distributors though. Oh, and Heather's voice is like fingers over a chalkboard.

I liked the show. Didn’t know it was on for 15 years. Didn’t watch it all the time. I did like Redneck, too. Some cool tank builds.

Homer looks like Brett

i've watched episodes here and there over the years and enjoyed it from the aspect of its fish related... that said, the banter and acting from the 2 main guys was always so annoying, from a reefkeeping perspective, i always wondered how well these tanks did after the first week, some of these are setup and have 100 fish added day one. thats cant be sustainable can it?

also, i hate how they pretend to fill up tanks with boxed seawater, when the promote the 4.4g boxes and say we are filling up this 1000g tank with it.

Hated the show. Tank set-ups were nitrate/phosphate factories. Looked cool new, but many of the odd configurations would have been extremely difficult to just wipe algae from the surface. I think they did a terrible service to out hobby.
