Tanked Cancelled

That may be true but my issue is it made our hobby look like we did not care about the animals. It also attracted some people who thought they could buy a tank, fill it with water and dump fish in.
Our hobby is under fire right now and we do not need it portrayed that way.

You make a good point. Don't worry I have tons of corals I am banking and going to supply the global market for generations to come :)

There was a proposal several years ago to basically make it illegal to own most coral without a permit and you could only own coral you already own. You could not sell, trade or propagate them.
Didn't go far but they will try again.

With a unorganized hobby it is not to far of a stretch something goes through someday.

That fake coral insert they used on every tank was horrible. I really liked that show fish tank kings better. I wish it was still on . Tanked started to tank when they only did famous people tanks on the show. Then they really started to Tank.

I liked the show. how they made the tanks and the types of tanks. the sizes and the shapes I thought was amazing. but didn't like the drama and how they over loaded the tanks with fish. but I hear there's a new show coming next month called the aquarium. not sure if it will be any good but worth a watch once or twice. I also like national geographic. on occasion they will have a series on oceans and it's inhabitants.

I've been to many fish shows with them there, I have always spoken with Brett and he has always been nice and I enjoyed our talks. I have meet Wade once and I got a half baked dead fish hand shake, yeah I do not think he likes to meet people and probably put off by the notoriety. Unfortunately lots of people are going to lose their jobs over this, and a nice way of life as well.

Only caught a couple episodes but the sad truth of the matter is it comes down to several factors. Reality TV changes people as does money. Factor in human nature and mental health, well, things can turn for the worse. Several reality shows have seen similar trends. It is unfortunate for all parties involved or at least I think.

Probably the one reason why I don't pay much attention to reality based tv. It isn't reality in the end.
I watch duck dynasty and after 11or13 seasons the money and fame have not changed that family one bit. They stayed true to who they are amazing family

You can't blame Brett and Wayde if a customer tears out the tank 5years later for the fish dying. You don't know if a customer went into getting this tank just cause they seen the show and thought it was neat and a possibility of being in tv themselves, didn't do research or thought about the fact of how much care, expense, maintenance, time, etc... They actually will have to invest. Or they could've lost internet in it. They are a live animal taken from their natural habitat. Things will go wrong. And the customer could've tried to find someone to take them without killing the fish.

That guy has such a large ego and a royal you know what. There was a huge thread on it they got in a big fight with R2R member's calling them all sorts of names. They do not care about the fish it was all about fame.
