Goat cheese?! How does that taste? When I was a kid, I worked in a Hospital Kitchen (to this day the BEST job I ever had (fun wise))!!! We found goat milk in the walk-in fridge. Tried it. BLAAAAAHHH! Ugh, NASTY stuff. So I embarked on a quest to get my friend to try it. After some convincing that it was SOOOOO good (haha), he tried it. And Gagged! We ALL got a good laugh outta that!

I never tried goat cheese until my wife had it at a tea party and said “you have to try this”. For pastas? It adds such a good strong cheese flavor (somewhat tart? Hard to explain). And has a good creamy taste. It’s a good cheese to top a pasta with.
Now goat milk? That does not sound pleasant to try haha

That’s why it’s good to move once in a while. I think my oldest thing is a can of concentrated orange juice from then.

Awesome thread! I’m heading to my grand parents on my dad’s side with my whole outer family. Probably about 25 people. Should be fun, the best time of year :)!

Back of our church we have cans that went out in the early 00’s. I think they used to run a food pantry out of there, but that was before I joined my current church

When my Dad was alive, I would go through his fridge and pantry to make sure something was not expired. But it seems I missed something. He'd got some diarrhea, so I rechecked his fridge. I'd missed a bottled sauce that expired in 2012! It MUST have been in the pantry cause I KNEW the fridge was clear, lol. So to all you Zombie Apocolypse food hoarders.....12 years past expiration is too long for sauces!

I gotta tell you folks, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year. Not the best tho. Halloween is the best! Christmas comes in a solid third. .....Arbor day is fourth?

Last night on our kitchen counter next the spices, a sealed plastic container sat with what I believed was dried peppermint....it was not quite dried black trumpet mushrooms. There was fungus growing on fungus.
